Common Questions
What is a virtual consultation?
A virtual consultation is a phone or video visit with a licensed provider to review your request for imaging, EKG, or lab testing.
Are you an imaging center?
No. This company is not an imaging center, lab, or treatment facility.
Are you affiliated with any imaging facility?
No. Patients may take their order to the facility of their choice, including cash-pay facilities.
Do you guarantee that I will receive the exact test I requested?
No. Orders are based on medical appropriateness and provider judgment. The provider may determine that a different test is more appropriate, or that no order should be issued.
How quickly will I hear back?
Providers generally respond within 1 business day and are available to conduct consultations 7 days per week.
Can I use this service in an emergency?
No. This service is not for emergencies. Call 911 or go to the ER for emergency symptoms.
Do you treat me after my results come back?
No. The service does not provide treatment or ongoing management after results. Patients are responsible for follow-up with a PCP, specialist, urgent care, or ER as appropriate.
Can I bring the order anywhere?
Yes. Orders may be taken to the imaging center, lab, or diagnostic facility of the patient’s choice.
Do you accept insurance?
The virtual consultation is a direct-pay service. Insurance acceptance, facility billing, and cash-pay pricing vary by the outside facility selected by the patient.
